Gaining new clients is hot on most recruiter’s mind and we want to share some of our tips to getting some new clients aboard your business. Marketing is such an important part of every business and ensuring your marketing is going in the correct direction to gain full potential to reach as many people as possible is crucial.

1. Know your target market

Before you begin to put all your efforts into getting some new clients make sure you know exactly who they are! Spend some time researching this, ask the questions of who are they? What do they do? What are their hobbies? Where do they tend to hang out? Once you have the answers to these, you will be able to build up more of portrait of the ideal client.

Don’t waste your time on people who aren’t suited to your business! Do your research.

2. Social Networking

The all-important words; Social Media. They seem to be the holy grail of all marketing right now so make sure you are on the band wagon. Choose a selection of platforms which fit your business and make conversation and engage with people. Be present on the platforms which you can run and keep up with, you don’t want to become quiet because you can’t keep on top of it all.

Top tip: use hashtags! These are a great way of getting your way into the conversation or starting a brand new conversation.

3. Offer something different

Make sure on all of your posts and engagement you are offering your clients something different. Stand out from the crowd by simply using a witty caption or something extremely catchy will be sure to catch the passing eye. Or find a funny photo and use that instead of your same old images.

4. Give a solution

When people are directed to your website, social media and so on they need to see straight away why they have landed on your page. What can you do for them to give them a solution to their problem?

5. Talk

Every day talk to 3 new people about your business. Tell them exactly what you do, describe how you can help them and how they can get in contact with you to get more information. By doing this you are making more people aware of your business just by chatting to them.

6. Launch a campaign

Finally, once you have built up all of this research launch a campaign about your business. This could offer something to a new client, it could be a competition to win something. You want to get your name out there as much as possible.
